Camille Rose Schroeck (nee Tyczkowski), age 77, passed away on November 3, 2024, from complications of ovarian cancer. She was a successful survivor of Type 1 Diabetes for 55 years.
Camille was born on November 5, 1946, in Erie, PA; the oldest daughter of Raymond and Helen (Jakubowski) Tyczkowski. She was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy and Mercyhurst University with a BA in biology.
Camille was the loving wife of Calvin Schroeck for 55 years. They moved to Eastlake OH in 1971 and were members of St. Mary Magdalene Church. In 1990, they moved to Willoughby Hills and were members of St. Noel Church. Camille was a Eucharistic Minister and sang in the choir for over 20 years. She also taught chemistry and biology at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin School. She was the member of a bible group and several book clubs.
Besides her husband, Camille is survived by daughters Julie Schroeck, Catherine (Dr. Anthony, DDS) Fratantonio, Theresa (Timothy) Smith and Jennifer (Robert ) Cvetichan. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren for whom she always had a cookie jar full of cookies. Grandchildren are Courtney (Alex) Barilec; Lily, Brooke and Summer Fratantonio; Emma (Ira) Brown, Abigail and Benjamin Smith; Ashley, Lauren, Marcus, Aaron and Brendan Cvetichan.
Camille is also survived by her sisters Barbara (Donald) Brozovic of Binghamton, NY and Andrea (Joseph, deceased) Zdunski of Erie, PA. She was also the sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Mass of Christian burial at St. Noel Church, 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 9, 2024. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Private inurnment at a later date.
