BRUCE FISHER, born January 19, 1945, dear husband of the love of his life, Nancy (nee DeButts); son of the late James and Ruth (nee Main); brother of the late Robert . Despite having no biological children, he nurtured and opened his heart and door to Todd, Michael and Katie Hall, Todd Fisher, Tracy Fisher-Harrington, and Brooke Fantelli.
Bruce worked within the Graphic Arts Industry his entire career and held a plethora of positions, including Vice President of Bedford Lithograph. Bruce always made many friends along the way. He was sincerely a generous and caring person. He would give help to anyone in need without hesitation. He liked to travel, tell stories, play golf, and have fun. He truly loved life, and was a great dancer, especially after a few of his favorite martinis. Above all things, Bruce enjoyed his beloved wife, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Bruce was especially fond of his feline companions.
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
-Mary Elizabeth Frye
