Brian J. Verdi

BRIAN JOSEPH VERDI, age 37, died unexpectedly on January 25, 2025. Brian was the beloved son of Margaret (nee O’Hare) and the late Thomas; loving brother of Katie Impullitti (Nick), Danny (Jenny), and Jane Lihani (Jonathan); a most special “Uncle B” to Joey, Jack, Quinn, and Colton; cherished grandson of the late Joseph and Josephine (nee Kozel) Verdi and Robert and Fay (nee Dickard) O’Hare; dearest nephew of Joe & Patty Verdi, Ken & Beth O’Hare, Don & Cindy O’Hare, Jim & Joyce O’Hare, and great nephew of Jean Dowd; cherished cousin and godfather to many; treasured friend to countless classmates, teammates, neighbors, and colleagues. 

Brian was born November 19, 1987 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated in 2006 from Mayfield High School and continued on with his education, receiving a bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University. Most recently, Brian was employed as a manager by Progressive Insurance. As a social person, he enjoyed the camaraderie of sports, such as golfing, bowling and cheering for the Cleveland Cavs, Browns and Indians. He also enjoyed the friendly faces surrounding him during bible study. Above all, family was at the center of his attention and they will forever miss his devotion, kind heartedness, contagious smile and his loving personality. Though his absence feels unbearable, his life deserves to be celebrated and the family asks that you join them in honoring and celebrating Brian.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 1, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6850 Mayfield Road, Gates Mills, Ohio at 10:00AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate Brian’s life at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Friday, January 31, 2025 from 4-7PM.
