Brian Larner

BRIAN JAMES LARNER age 38, passed away July 16, 2015. Brian was the beloved husband for 15 years of Jennifer (nee Guerra); loving father of Derek and Shaina; devoted son of James and Barbara (nee Burgess); treasured grandson of Patricia Larner; cherished son-in-law of Thomas & Janet (nee Smith) Guerra and brother-in-law of Tricia & Russel Durst and Thomas & Melissa Guerra; dearest uncle of Bryson, Trevor, Isabella, Collin and Nathan; dear nephew, cousin and friend of many.

Brian was born October 14, 1976 in Cleveland and graduated from Eastlake North High School. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from Mount Union in 1999. Brian was a Comparative Rating Analyst for Progressive. He enjoyed playing basketball, coaching soccer, participating in a fantasy football league and watching Duke University, Cavs basketball and the Yankees. Brian will be remembered as a hard worker with a great work ethic, but mostly as a loving and compassionate father and husband.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Brian’s memory to The Derek & Shaina Education Fund, c/o any Chase Bank location, Attention: Jennifer Larner Revocable Trust.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory.  Celebration of Life Service Wednesday July 22, 2015 at 11 AM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).

Private burial will take place at Plains Road Cemetery in Willoughby, Ohio.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Brian at the FUNERAL HOME TUESDAY 2-4 & 5-8 PM.
