Brian Hathaway

BRIAN A. HATHAWAY age 74, beloved husband of the late Sandy (nee Dorko); loving father of David Hathaway (wife Tammy); devoted grandfather of Caitlin (fiance George Morgan) and Abigail Hathaway; cherished son of the late John and Margaret (nee Gackstetter); dearest brother of Pamela Ferrazza (husband Carl, deceased) and the late John (wife Jan) and Trudy Cartner (husband David); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Brian A. Hathaway was born on March 28, 1944 in Bridgeport, CT and passed away on February 17, 2019 in Mayfield Heights. He was a resident of South Euclid for 27 years and formerly Cleveland Heights. Brian graduated from Brush High School in 1962 and attended Fenn College. He was a long-time employee of General Electric as a HVACR Technician/ Heating Specialist. Brian enjoyed cooking, fishing, hiking, boating, gardening, golf and bowling. He was an avid car enthusiast.  Brian will be remembered as an honest, funny, friendly and outgoing man. He was the life of the party with a dry sense of humor. Brian will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Friday, February 22, 2019 at 7:30 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Brian at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) FRIDAY 4-7:30 PM.
