Brian Bukovec

Brian L. Bukovec, age 66, beloved husband for 38 years of Shari (nee Clucas); loving father of Michael (Amy) Bukovec and Matthew Bukovec; devoted grandfather of Annalise, Clara and Everly; cherished son of the late Albert and Gladys Bukovec (nee Leonardi); dearest brother of Rick (Susan) Bukovec, Susan (Mike Cunningham) Hudec and David (Suzanne) Bukovec; dear brother-in-law and uncle of many.

Brian was born on April 16, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a 1976 graduate of Euclid High School and continued his education at Lakeland Community College and Lake Erie College. After graduating, he started his career in Business Management and Engineering while working at Radix Wire Company for 36 years, before moving on to various leadership roles for other companies. An avid outdoorsman, Brian could be found fishing, hunting, boating and beekeeping. His most cherished time was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Those that knew him would refer to him as a "great guy" who was a genuine family man. He was a great role model who left a lasting impact on many of the people that he encountered. Brian passed away March 29, 2025 after a courageous battle against leukemia and will be missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. Celebration of Life Service Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Brian at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY, APRIL 3, from 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
