BONNIE LOU VOIGT (nee Newell), aged 76 years, beloved wife of the late Robert C., dearest mother of Kathryn Schulz (husband Nicholas) and Robert C. II, loving grandmother of Nicholas Michael Schulz, James Robert Schulz and Katie Nicole Schulz, cherished daughter of the late William L. and Helena (nee Mason) Newell, devoted sister of Patricia Cooper (husband Robert) (both deceased), William Newell (wife Linda), Robert Newell (deceased) (wife Twila), George (wife Eve), Sharon Bitler and David Newell (deceased), fond sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt to many.

Bonnie was born in Canal Winchester on April 21, 1945 and passed away October 14, 2021. She was a resident of Euclid since 1971. Graduating from Liberty Union High School in 1963, she went on to receive her Associates degree at Bliss College in Columbus Ohio.  Her hobbies included playing the dulcimer, spending time at the cabin she and her husband Bob built, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She is best described by her family as a very proud and devoted mother and grandmother, hardworking, never one to forget a birthday or miss a family reunion, loving, generous, strong, and courageous. She was dedicated to her family, her church, her friends, neighbors, and her community. Bonnie will be truly missed by many.

Funeral services Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 at the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Pastor Steven Hackmann of Shore Haven Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial following in Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Bonnie at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
