Boja Christine Vidmar

Boja Christine Vidmar (nee Boskovic), 80, of Kirtland, passed away suddenly on December 8, 2018.

Boja was born, October 15, 1938 in Hercegovina. She had a very active life, well known in the Croatian community and touched many people’s hearts. Member of Croatian National Women’s Club – Cardinal A. Stepinac and former Director of the American Croatian Lodge Board of Directors.

She is survived by her daughter, Miki Steigerwald; her grandchildren: Cristina Steigerwald Rosendahl (Evan), Sarah Vidmar, Alex Steigerwald, Josh Steigerwald, and Joseph Vidmar; her sister: Staza Jerinic (Hrvoje).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franjo; her son, Frank; and her brother, Joseph Boskovic; her sisters: Rose Piller and Jane Brazdicic.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Boja at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Rd. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91), Thursday, Dec. 13 from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass, Friday, 10am at St. Paul Croatian Church, 1369 E. 40 Street, Cleveland (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Interment All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations my be made, in her name, to the Croatian Woman’s Club – Cardinal A. Stepinac, PO Box 32102, Euclid, OH 44132 to benefit the orphanages in Bosnia and Croatia.
