BETTY A. DAVEY (nee Salettel) age 90, beloved wife of the late Charles; loving mother of Karen Davey (husband Michael Harvey) and Kevin (wife Amy); devoted grandmother of Erin, Megan and Caitlin Harvey, Owen, Kathryn, Andrew and the late Anthony Davey; cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Frances (nee Hren) Salettel; dearest sister of Shirley Stocker (husband James); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Betty was born in Cleveland on December 7, 1929, and passed away on May 18, 2020. She was a resident of Willoughby Hills for 17 years, and prior to that, she lived in Mayfield Village and Euclid. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy. Betty was a home maker, a volunteer who liked to golf and play bridge. She was an avid reader and loved travelling. She was a devout Catholic, and grew up in St. Vitus Parish, and was a member of St. Williams, St. Paschal Baylon, and St. Noel Catholic Churches. Betty was very social and devoted to her family. She will be missed by many.
Private Mass of Christian Burial at St. Noel Catholic Church with burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Betty at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SATURDAY MORNING, May 23 from 11:30AM-12:30PM.
