Betty D. Boroush

The Funeral Service for Betty D. (nee Kocher) Boroush, 89, wife of the late W. Rolland Boroush, will be on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM at The Ritondaro Funeral Home, 126 South Street, Chardon, OH.

Mrs. Boroush died peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 7 at UHHS Geauga Hospital. Born in Akron, OH, she was a resident of Newbury for 58 years, previously residing in Cleveland.

Betty had worked in several positions at Newbury, Kenston, and the Geauga County Board of Education, achieving 28 years of service in the education system. She continued to meet many of her friends that she made in her career for breakfast every Friday. She enjoyed working in her garden, reading books, listening to music, and visiting parks. She was an avid tennis player.

Mrs. Boroush is survived by her children Mark, companion Grace Ault, of MD and Eric, wife Lisa, of CT; grand-daughter Lindsay of Washington, D.C.; and sister Jeanne Kocher.

The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Thursday one hour prior to the Service, 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Munn Cemetery in Newbury Twp.
