Betty Brown

BETTY F. BROWN, 84, of Solon, entered into eternal life July 6, 2016.

Betty was born January 22, 1932 in Salem, OH, to the late William and Winifred (nee Garrison) Fleischer. She lived in Willowick, Mayfield Heights and Mentor before moving to Solon 6 years ago. Betty graduated from Shaw High School in 1951 and worked for Bailey Controls for 20 years before joining Argo Tech as a Purchasing Agent in 1983. Betty was a member of the Red Hats and spent most of her free time with her beloved grandchildren. ln addition, she loved to swim, exercise, cross country ski and travel.

Betty is survived by her beloved companion Charles Sanguedolce; son James W. Brown of Painesville; daughters Dorene Sweet (Craig) of Amherst, and Michelle Korb (Daniel) of Chardon; grandchildren Christopher Sweet, Danielle Korb, Casey Sweet, James J. Brown and Kelly Brown; sisters Loretta Stephan (John deceased) and Donna (Bayles) Van Allen; and many nieces and nephews.  A Private Family Service, as she requested, was held at Knollwood  Mausoleum.
