BERNARD D’AMBROSI, Sr., age 64; beloved husband for 44 years of Nancy Lou (nee Perrino); loving father of Bernard Jr. (wife Catherine) and Tina Kaplan (husband Pete); devoted grandfather of Bernard III, Valenty, Michael Kaplan, Patrizio, Sarah, Giovanni and Giuliana Kaplan; dearest son of the late Filomena (nee Vitelli) and Salvatore; cherished brother of Ora Pecarro, Samuel, and the late Rosaline Frabotta, Peter, Sally Colaluca, Anthony, Jacqueline Conti and Reggie; dearest son-in-law of Nancy Marie (Perrino) Strosnider (husband Dean) and the late Louis A. Perrino; dear brother-in-law of David Lee, Dennis James Perrino and the late Louis Anthony and Perry Como Perrino; dear uncle, great-uncle and friend of many. Founder and owner of Bertin Steel Processing, Inc. and Partner of North Coast Ferrous Supply, Inc.

The family suggests contributions be made in Bernie’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, 44119.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 12:30 PM at Holy Angels Catholic Church 18205 Chillicothe Road (SR 306 south of Alt. 422) Bainbridge, OH 44023. Burial following in Aurora City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bernie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM and at HOLY ANGELS CHURCH on Saturday, January 8, 20100 from Y 11:30 AM until time of Mass.”
