BERNARD C. DIGMAN, age 89, was the beloved husband of Mildred (nee Prock) and the late Mary Lou (nee Bowers). He was a loving father of Gary (wife Susan), Carol Dissauer (husband Robert), and step-father of James Clough (wife Sue) and Ruth Cloug. He was also the dearest grandfather of Matthew Digman, Evan Dissauer, and step-grandfather of Brian, Gregory and Scott Clough, and great-grandfather of 7.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy and World War II he had a long career as an Industrial Designer and designed many Trade Show Exhibits. Bernie was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and an avid supporter of the United States Aviation Museum (U.S.A.M.). In his earlier years, he enjoyed singing in Barbershop Quartets and playing Guitar.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bernie SATURDAY 1:00 PM until time of service on September 10, 2011.
A Tribute Service will be on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 3:00 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). Pastor Daniel Skillman will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village at a later date. A reception will follow in the Funeral Home’s Community Room. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory.
