BERNARD J. BYRNE JR., aged 83 years, beloved husband of the late Claire M. (nee O’Connor), dear father of Mary Kay Gleba (Larry), Timothy G. (Donna), Maureen A. Vrban (Mike), Margaret Ann Byrne, Paul G. (Cindy) and B. James III (Andrea), loving grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 10, cherished brother of the late Sheila King, Eileen Joyce, Bridget Joyce, Simon, Martin, Frank and Peter Byrne. The family would like to thank everyone at Governor’s Village for their excellent care of Bernie, and to long-time friend Betty Hamilton for her frequent visits. Contributions in Bernard’s memory are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Private burial in All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Bernie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on MONDAY from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
