BERNADINE M. FALCONE (nee Paradise), age 92; beloved wife of the late Raymond; loving mother of Patricia Vanek (husband Michael) and Donna Maslar (husband John); devoted grandmother of Brian Harting (wife Kelly), Jon Harting, Kerri Dalton (husband Rich), Alex Maslar, Melissa Dobos (husband Josh), Mark Vanek (wife Brooke), Molly Rosenberger (husband James) and great-grandmother of Alyssa, Shanna, Drew, Kamryn, Laney, Kayla, Sophia, James, Cecilia and Eli; cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Agnes (nee Leonardi) Paradise; dearest sister of Edith McGroder (husband James, deceased) and the late Teresa Marecak (husband David) and Nicholas Paradise (wife Antoinette); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Bernie was a resident of Chesterland for 3 years after moving from South Euclid. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church for 45 years and was a festival volunteer as well as member of the Isabella Guild of Gilmour #310, South Euclid Lioness, St. Anthony Women’s Society of Holy Rosary and on the volunteer team for Fr. Diorio and the Christian Life Center. After graduating from John Hay High School, Bernie was the owner/operator of LaRay Cleaners, where she also took care of the accounting. She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed playing cards and Rummikub and listening to Andrea Bocelli. Her family gave her the most enjoyment and they will fondly remember her as a religious, faithful, generous, selfless woman who loved to give her time to others.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, May 1, 2014 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bernie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 2-4 and 5-8 PM.
