Together they belonged to Quail Hollow Country Club and Heisley Racquetball & Fitness. She loved swimming, walking the beaches, especially in Aruba, and passed that love onto her children. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. Her greatest enjoyment was times spent with family and relaxing in the winter season. She and Joe especially enjoyed their cruising and many trips to Aruba. Cooking for her family at the holidays was a great joy. Beate was very loving and a role model to many. She was humble, caring, practical, feisty, dependable, thoughtful, and always had high values and expectations. She was “the greatest home-maker and business partner” who cherished family and the devoted staff and members at Deep Springs Trout Club.
