BARBARA M. “BARRIE” KRAMER (nee Simpson) age 84. Beloved wife of the late Arthur R. Schmidt and Harry Kramer; loving mother of Sandra Beer (husband Thomas) of NC, Susan Stuble (husband Fred) of Wickliffe, Nancy Schroeder (husband Bryan) of VA and Christopher Schmidt, Sr. (wife Kathy) of Mayfield Hts.; devoted grandmother of Kristin, Lisa, Michael, Julie, Brian, Erika, Brad, Christa, Emily, Christopher, and Stephen; great-grandmother of Ben, Abby, Jack, Ayden, Colin, Marion, Madelyn, Fiona, Claire, Luke, and Ethan; dear sister of the late Margaret Lehman; dearest sister-in-law of Jane Guist; cherished companion dog Alfie.

Barbara was born October 26, 1930 in Cleveland. She was a resident of Mayfield Heights, and most recently, of Willoughby Hills. Barbara was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a medical secretary for 6 years for her husband’s practice. Barbara loved dancing, music and singing around the piano. She also enjoyed bowling, antiques and traveling, especially to the Outer Banks. Barbara got the most enjoyment in life from her family and loved celebrating Christmas with them. She will be remembered for her feisty humor and fun-loving nature.

Inurnment private at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life Service Saturday, March 21, 2015 11:30 AM, at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) where the family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Barrie FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
