Barbara Deprospero

BARBARA ANN DePROSPERO (nee Seyer), beloved wife of David; loving mother of Sharon Chiappero (husband Miguel), and Mark (wife Jenny); devoted grandmother of Debra, Tori, Amber, Cara, and Alex; cherished daughter of the late Elizabeth Folley; dearest sister of 6 late siblings; dear aunt, great-aunt, and niece of many.

Barbara was born on February 26, 1944 and passed away on January 3, 2017. She was a 14 year resident of Euclid, previously of Patterson, New Jersey. Barbara was a parishioner of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and ceramics. She loved music especially from the 50’s. Her family was her life, she enjoyed Christmas, and family birthdays. She loved to play Phase 10 with her grandchildren. Barbara was a good mother and the heart of the family. She was compassionate, attentive to everyone’s needs, selfless, and caring. Barbara will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 15712 Kipling Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110 at 10 AM. Cremation by DeJohn Funeral Home. Following Mass family will meet friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Barbara at the community room of THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).
