Babette K. Schad

BABETTE K. SCHAD age 76, beloved wife of the late Leroy Paul; loving k-9 mom to Mickey.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Babette to the Animal Protection League or Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

Babette was born on March 29, 1945 and passed away on August 23, 2021. She was a resident of Mayfield Heights, Wickliffe, and Hawaii for 10 years. Babette belonged to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church where she participated in the Western Reserve Chapter of Eastern Star, where she was Worthy Matron multiple times. She also belonged to the Euclid Beach Nuts. Babette graduated from Mayfield High School and earned her master’s degree at Mount Union University. She proudly worked as a Kindergarten teacher at Holy Rosary, St. Benedict, and in Hawaii. Babette cherished her time spent with her fur baby, traveling to Disney, where she went 25 times and went on 50 cruises. She also enjoyed jig saw puzzles, playing piano, reading, decorating for all holidays and plastic canvas needle work. Babette also spent time as a Travel Agent for AAA, Dream Vacation, and led one day bus trips. She treasured her friends, caring for the students she taught, and was devoted to her husband. Babette will be dearly missed by all.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Babette at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 11-12:30 PM followed by an Eastern Star Memorial at 12:30 PM and Celebration of Life at 1PM. Burial following at Acacia Memorial Park.
