AUGUST J. CASTRO “GUS”, aged 91 years, beloved husband for 62 years to the late Antonette (nee Buccilli), dear son of the late Joseph and Rose (nee Catalano), cherished brother of the late Bernice Cuttaia (husband Joseph), Anna Calafato (husband Salvatore), Dominic Castro (wife Helen) and Ann Anselmo (husband Theodore), devoted brother-in-law to Nancy Buccilli (husband Mario – deceased), much loved uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle. Proud United States Army Veteran of World War II, and recipient of the Silver Star. Contribution in memory of Gus suggested to any Veteran’s Service Organization, or to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Entombment following in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Gus at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on FRIDAY from 3:00 to 5:00 AND 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
