Audre Kay

AUDRE A. KAY (nee Beckett), age 92; beloved wife of the late John T.; loving mother of John T., Jr (wife Mary), Dianne Riemer (husband Robert) and Sandra McDaries; devoted grandmother of Jacqueline, Jennifer, John Paul, Kristyn, Jonathan, Heather, Laurel and great-grandmother of Emily, Chloe, Tessa, Amelia, Amanda, Dominique and Brittany; dear sister of the late Frederick C. Beckett, Jr.

Audre was a resident of Cleveland Heights for over 50 years after moving from Parma. She was a previous member of St. Louis Catholic Church and a current member of St. Gregory the Great of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. Audre worked as an executive secretary for Standard Oil and enjoyed square dancing and listening to music. Her favorite songs were “Evergeen” and “Ave Maria”. A true animal lover, Audre was especially fond of dogs and her daughter’s alpacas. She will be remembered as a great cook who like to have fun and loved garage sales.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Audre’s memory to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, September 6, 2014 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 9:30 AM. Entombment following at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Audre at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on FRIDAY from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
