ANTON KOCJAN
Mass of Christian Burial for Anton Kocjan, 90, of Euclid, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday July 29, 2015 at St. Vitus Church 6019 Lausche Ave., Cleveland followed by burial in All Souls Cemetery.
Mr. Kocjan passed away Saturday at his residence. Born to the late Joze and Ana Kocjan in Ponova vas pri Grosupljema, Slovenia, he had been a resident of Euclid for 48 years. He was employed as a tool and die maker for the Scottish Tool & Die Co. in Cleveland for 26 years. Anton was a founding member of the Slovenska Pristava, a member of the Slovenska Pristava Pensioners and KSKJ Sacred Heart of Jesus Lodge #226. He was an avid gardener, loved to walk and spending time with his grandchildren.
Anton is survived by his daughters Mary Petelin and Kathy Maurice; grandchildren Tanya (Pete) Loncar, Tina Petelin, Teja (Rick) Novak, Dani (Adam) Moody and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Marija (Prijatelj) in June 2015; daughter Elizabeth; six siblings all of Slovenia and grandchildren Christopher and Baby Maurice
Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Zevnik-Cosic Funeral Home 28890 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills.
