ANTOINETTE J. “Babe” APRILE (nee Bellante) age 86, beloved wife for 66 years of Santo “Sandy”; loving mother of Debra Wert (husband James), Manny (wife Audrey), Lisa Wolfgram (husband Michael), Charlene Smrdel (husband Gregory); devoted grandmother of Tera Cowdin, Kristen Albino, Frank Stoner, Louis and Marissa Blanco, Anthony and Rachelle Aprile, great-grandmother of 5 and extended grandmother of 5.

Antoinette was born on November 18, 1930 and sadly passed away on November 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi and belonged to Collinwood Memories and Little Italy Retirees. Antoinette attended Collinwood High school and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and swing dancing in her free time. Antoinette loved going to the casino and playing the slot machines. She enjoyed listening to the music of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. Antoinette loved to travel, especially to Florida. She got the most enjoyment out of life by spending time with her kids, grandkids, and her home in which she filled with love. Antoinette was strong-willed, loving, a fighter, spoke her peace and a great mom. She will be dearly missed by all.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory; Mass of Christian Burial Friday, November 17, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 6850 Mayfield Road, Gates Mills, OH 44040 at 11 AM. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Babe at THE CHURCH FRIDAY MORNING 10:30-11 AM.
