Anthony J. Sandy

ANTHONY J. SANDY age 66, loving father of Stephanie Cole (husband Mark); devoted grandfather of Antonio, Dominic, and Olivia; cherished son of James and Helen (nee Sabo) Sandy; dearest brother of James (wife Anne), Allen (wife Jean), Mark (wife Linda), Gail Yaffanaro (husband Vincent, deceased), Lance (wife Judy), Michael (wife Cheryl, deceased), Laura DiDanato (husband Albert), and Phillip; dear uncle, great-uncle, and friend of many.

Anthony was born on May 21, 1956, in Warren, Ohio. He dedicated many years to Babcock and Wilcox Nuclear Power Company, where he served as a Quality Control Technician. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was working in the yard, fishing, boating, or grilling at family barbeques. He was extremely intelligent and was always teaching others, from simple math to home renovations. He had a way with electronics and enjoyed playing several video games. Tony truly loved spending time with his family and never missed a Sunday get-together. On August 2, 2022, this once so caring, giving, and funny man left his family and friends missing him beyond measure.

Celebration of Life Service Monday, August 8, 2022, at 6 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tony at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 4-6 PM.
