Anthony Rock

ANTHONY K. ROCK age 32, beloved fiancée of Shannon Schlee; devoted father of Saylor Pearl Rock; cherished son of Connie (nee Cahoon) and Brian Daugherty and Dennis and Sharon (nee McHugh) Rock; dearest brother of Tylor Rock and step-brother of Daniel McHugh; loved grandson of Elaine and the late Ken Cahoon, Sharon and the late Edwin Young, and great-grandson of the late Pearl Cahoon, Mike and Marge Rock; loving nephew of Chris (Paul) Nozling; beloved son-in-law of Lisa Schlee and Wayne Schlee; dear brother-in-law of Christopher Schlee; loving step-grandson of John and Erika McHugh and Beverly Daughtery; dearest great-nephew and cousin of many; companion of Tink the cat and the late Bagheera.

Anthony was born in Euclid on February 12, 1988 and passed away suddenly on September 27, 2020 as a result of an auto accident.  He was a resident of Chardon for the past 2 years and prior to that he lived in Painesville.  He graduated from Riverside High School, and then went on to attend The Ohio State University, eventually graduating from Columbus State University and became a draftsman for Payne and Payne Builders.  His hobbies included golfing, drag racing, cars, skateboarding, playing video games on his PS4, and watching his beloved Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes.  Anthony also was an avid Disney fan.  Anthony was a very proud father, as his daughter and fiancée gave him the most enjoyment in life, as well as his love of cars.  Watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on Thanksgiving, attending family functions, and watching Star Wars were some special traditions that Anthony enjoyed.  Growing up, Anthony was very smart, and always on the honor roll and had a brilliant mind with many talents.  His family describes him as having a great sense of humor, a memorable laugh, a charming personality, and a polite demeanor.  He was nice to everyone, helpful to all, proud of his home, and a lover of animals.  He will be missed by many.
