ANTHONY F.  “LITTLE A” IAMMARINO age 93, beloved husband for 70 years of Ann (nee Cuca); loving father of Linda Russ (husband Al), Anthony Jr., Mark (wife Amy), and the late Robert; devoted grandfather of Sarah Skrajner (husband David), Rachel Russ D’Amico (husband Steve), Thomas, Matthew, and Emma, and great-grandfather of Luigi D’Amico; cherished son of the late Frank and Madelena (nee Marinelli); dearest brother of the late Charles (wife Grace deceased), and Frank (wife Mary deceased); dear uncle and great-uncle of many. World War II US Army Veteran.

Anthony was born on January 7, 1927 and died peacefully on December 8, 2020. He now rests in the peace of God, for all eternity.

He grew up on Murray Hill before moving to Mayfield Heights in 1959. He attended and graduated from East High School in 1945. He went on to serve our country and was a proud World War II US  Army Veteran. He returned home and worked as a Postal Carrier. Anthony volunteered as a member of the Mayfield Heights Mayor’s advisory board.  He also gave his time serving as a youth coach for numerous teams.  Anthony was an excellent bowler and golfer and achieved a hole in one. He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers and Big Band music.  

Anthony was an outgoing and friendly man. He was unselfish and reverent and everyone who knew him loved him. He was helpful and generous. Anthony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was truly dedicated to his family. 

He will be dearly missed.  

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Anthony to The St. Augustine Health Campus, 7801 Detroit Ave, Cleveland OH 44102. Relatives and friends are invited to meet for The Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 10 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church 5659 Mayfield Rd. 44124. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD
