Anne Stella Jelenic

ANNE STELLA JELENIC (nee Pavlovcic) age 95, beloved wife of the late Frank; loving mother of Carole Grant (husband Dennis), Frank Jelenic (wife Martha), and Patricia Hayes (husband Arthur); devoted grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of several; cherished daughter of the late Frank Pavlovcic and Antonia Kontely (nee Cehovan) and step-daughter of the late Frank Kontely; dearest sister of the late Antoinette Pavlovcic, Frances Sak (husband Andrew), and Frank Kontely and sister-in-law of Stephanie Kontely; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Anne was born on December 3, 1924 in Kitzmiller, MD, and passed away peacefully on September 23, 2020 in Mayfield Heights. She was a resident of Highland Heights for the past 40 years, and prior to that, she lived in Euclid and Cleveland. A 1942 graduate of Collinwood High School, Anne was a homemaker who loved gardening and baking.  She was caring, kind, and generous, as well as hardworking and devoted to her family.  Anne will be missed by so many.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Anne to American Cancer Society. Private Prayers of Christian Burial were held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at All Souls Cemetery.  Arrangements by THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD.
