ANNE A. LoGRASSO (nee Antonelli), aged 98 years, beloved wife of the late Thomas A., dearest mother of Sr. Beverly Ann LoGrasso, O.S.U. and Barbara Ann Bigelow (husband Judson), loving daughter of the late Louis and Anna (nee DeGuilius) Antonelli, cherished sister of the late Eda Guzzo, Helen Bill, Renee Wood, Betty Gambatese and Yolanda LoGrasso, devoted aunt and grand-aunt.
Anne Antonelli LoGrasso was born to Italian immigrants in Cleveland, Ohio where she attended Murray Hill Grade School and graduated from John Hay High School. Anne was married to Thomas “Tom” LoGrasso for 54 years. Tom died in 1995. They have two daughters: Barbara Anne, a registered nurse residing in southern California with her husband, Judson Bigelow, and Beverly Anne, an Ursuline Sister.
Anne, a devoted mother, wife and homemaker took to work in 1969 for 20 years at the Ambassador Nursing Center, Cleveland, Ohio. A gift for organization, Anne handled records, personnel matters, supervised laundry operations, and was in charge of interviewing new hires.
Anne baked for relaxation and loved to give out her incredible Christmas cookies each year. Her sour cream coffee cake was in popular demand.
Devoted to the Blessed Mother, Anne always had a rosary nearby. Anne had a strength and sense of purpose that was heaven sent. Her faith was based upon her love, trust, and complete dependence on Mary, her mother.
Anne loved to sing. A regular at the Little Sisters Sing Along her voice was steady and true be it a hymn, carol, opera, or popular favorite. Amazingly Anne remembered the lyrics to many songs throughout her long and blessed life. Anne radiated warmth and kindness. Her smile and “Hi!” will be what many remember her by.
Her advice to others: “Do the work that is required of you, with kindness, patience and try to get along with others.”

The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Anne on Tuesday Oct. 15, 2013 from 10 – 11 AM at Little Sisters of the Poor, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in the Chapel at 11 AM. Private burial in Lake View Cemetery. Arrangements by The DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
