Anne Kascak

ANNE MARIE KASCAK (nee Sabol), aged 89 years, dearly beloved wife for 68 years to Thomas Michael, dear mother of Thomas Edward (deceased) (wife Susan), Karen Diemer (deceased) and Kevin (wife Nancy), loving grandmother of Thomas (wife Melissa), David (wife Kimberly), Matthew (wife Magdalena) and Kimberly Kascak, great-grandmother of Sadie, cherished daughter of the late John and Tekla (nee Bacher) Sabol, devoted sister of Joseph Sabol (deceased) and Margaret Mosier (husband Jack), fond aunt and grand-aunt.

Anne was a graduate of John Hay High School. She had worked as a secretary at the old State Savings and Loan in Cleveland, before starting her family. She had served as president of her garden club in Cleveland. Her favorite hobbies and activities were baking for the holidays, traveling, making chocolate, collecting china and crystal, and taking care of her plants on her sun porch. She loved listening to the music of Dean Martin and Engelbert Humperdinck. Her family describes her as devoted to her husband, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She loved the family get-togethers for holidays and holy days. She was a woman who was very loving and caring, who always put the needs of others before her own.

Contributions in memory of Anne suggested to Sprenger Hospice, 3905 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH. 44053, or to a charity of your choice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. Dominic Catholic Church (Van Aken at Norwood) at 11AM. Entombment following in All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Anne at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on THURSDAY 4-7 PM.
