Anna Krizman

ANNA KRIZMAN (nee Pecnik) age 87, beloved wife of the late Jozef; loving mother of Ann Lipnick (husband Mark, deceased), Joseph (wife Ann), John (wife Ilona), and Theresa Arko (husband Frank); devoted grandmother of Jennifer Ortiz, Erica Lipnick, Joseph, Jr. (fiancé Lacey Whitfield), Abigail (deceased), David Daw (fiancé Kelsey Peck), Christian Daw (husband Matthew Sharbaugh), John Erik, Mark Petrigash, Miranda Petrigash (fiancé Devon Zurcher) and great-grandmother of Pedro, Emani, Laelani, and Mallik; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Emma (nee Prebil) Pecnik; dearest sister of Frank Pecnik (wife Barbara), John Pecnik (wife Roxie), Hilda Strminska (husband Richard), Sylvia King (husband Herb) and the late Stanley Pecnik; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Anna was born on July 4, 1931 in Bostanj, Slovenia and passed away on January 3, 2019. She was a resident of Chardon for 2 years, formerly of Euclid and Cleveland. Anna was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Collinwood, a member of the Altar Society and a founding member of Pristava. In the early 1950s, Anna moved to Cleveland from Germany after Slovenia. She was a housekeeper at the Slovene Home. Anna loved gardening and baking. She will be remembered most as a hardworking, giving, selfless, friendly and funny woman. Anna was a caregiver and loved her family, she will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church 15519 Holmes Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Anna at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
