ANN V. GYURICZA (nee Nagy), age 90; died at the Slovene Home for the Aged in Cleveland. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Frank; loving mother of Marilyn (Ken) Dorner, Gayle (James) Klements and Beth (Brent) Kecskemety; devoted grandmother of Mike (Heather) and Frank (Carlie) Dorner, Katherine (Brandon) Ausgotharp, Jamie Klements, Ann (Maurice) Cooper, Brian, Meredith and Emily Kecskemety and great-grandmother of Briana and Kyle Ausgotharp, Cole and Brooks Dorner; cherished sister of the following deceased Elizabeth Hurchanik, Ethel Janic, Frank and Julius Nagy, Vera Moses, Loretta Lepish; dear sister-in-law of the late Goldie and Joe Jakab; dear aunt and great-aunt to many.
Ann was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church while she lived in Mayfield Heights for 13 years prior to her move to Cleveland six years ago. Ann had also been a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary and Our Lady of Peace Church over the years. After graduating from Jane Adams High School, Ann spent many years as a homemaker, beautician and seamstress. She enjoyed sewing and dancing but most important to Ann was her family whom she loved with great devotion. She will be fondly remembered as a very giving, hospitable woman who cherished family gatherings.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made in Ann’s memory to the Slovene Home for the Aged, 18621 Neff Rd., Cleveland, OH 44119 or Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 6, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10 AM. Entombment following at Knollwood Cemetery.
