Angela Volpe

ANGELA M. VOLPE (nee Alacqua), age 92, beloved wife of the late Anthony, loving mother of Anthony (wife Marylyn), Frank (wife Marge), Robert (wife Donna) and Marianne Brady (husband Michael), devoted grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 16, dearest sister of the late Stella Alaimo, Connie Yurkovich, Carlo and Sam Alacqua; dear aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

Angela was born on June 9, 1926 in Cleveland and passed away March 14, 2019. She resided in Chardon for 3 years and formerly Euclid. Angela was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church. She graduated from East High School in 1945. Angela was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, traveling especially to Italy and her family. She will be remembered as a loving, caring and giving woman who was dedicated to her family. Angela was an outgoing and social person that was dependable, and family was everything to her. She will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 18, 2019, at 10 AM at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 140 Richmond Rd., Euclid, OH 44143. Entombment following at Knollwood Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Angela at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-5 PM.
