ANGELA H. LAURICH (nee Gole) age 102, beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Marlene Streetz (Roy) and Gerry Soule (Bruce); devoted grandmother of Roy Streetz (Kathy), Laura McFarlane (Stuart), John Streetz (Karen), Lynn Hallum (Chris), Brian Soule (Christine), Michelle Haney (Bob), Juliette Lawton (Frank) and great-grandmother of 13 and great-great-grandmother of 4; cherished daughter of the late Adolph and Mary (nee Svete) Gole; dearest sister of the following all deceased: Mary Stazisar (Anton), Adolph Gole, Jennie Gole, Julia Pezdirtz (Joseph), Josephine Klavora (Frank) and Frances Kovac (Joseph); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Angela was born on August 19, 1916 in Cleveland and passed away on February 5, 2019. She was a life-long resident of Collinwood. The past 2 years, Angie has been a resident of Willoughby Hills. Angie was active at St. Paul’s Church in Euclid for more than 50 years enjoying the 50+ club, attending bus trips and monthly meetings until the church closed. Then joining both St. Noel Church and St. Mary’s Church in Collinwood. She was a member of AFU Lodge, Washington Lodge, and Slovenska Pristava. Angie volunteered as a card player at the Slovenian Home for the Aged. She attended school in Collinwood and retired in 1978 from General Electric as a Quality Inspector for 37 years. Angie enjoyed making tatted lace, gardening, and playing cards especially pinochle. She loved bowling and continued so until she reached 100. Angie enjoyed scratch-off lotto tickets, taking trips to casinos and listening to polkas. Her children and grandchildren gave Angie the most enjoyment in life, she always looked forward to Holidays and family reunions. Angie will be remembered most as a very generous, loving, strong, and active woman. She will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, February 11, 2019 at St. Noel Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Angie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 3-7 PM.
