Angela Chicles

ANGELA CHICLES (nee Kossiaras), aged 83 years, beloved wife of the late Chris, loving mother of Vanessa Chicles, Martha Adams (husband John) and Aris (wife Annemarie), cherished grandmother of Christopher, Nicholas and Angela Adams, and Alexia, Helena and Cassandra Chicles, devoted daughter of the late Peter and Martha (nee Maglaras) Kossiaras, dear sister of Constance Pappas (husband Sortis) and Thomas Kossiaras (wife Connie). In loving memory of Angela, the family suggests contributions to Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3352 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland Heights, OH 44118; or to Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Leroy Ave., Yonkers, NY 10705.

Angela had lived in the Cleveland area for the past 18 years, and was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Cleveland Heights. Born in Joliet, Illinois, she was raised in New York and was a graduate of Yonkers High School.

She was employed by the Greek Bank of New York, and later worked for the United States Army as an attaché to the American Embassy in Athens, Greece.

Funeral services Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 11 AM. Interment following in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (Seville). Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Angela at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 4-7 PM. TRISAGION SERVICE WEDNESDAY AT 6:30 PM.
