Angela Benedetti

ANGELA ROSE BENEDETTI (nee Licurs), age 93; beloved wife for 65 years of Alio “Al”; loving mother of Anita, Melinda, Lisa and Mark (wife Diane DeCamillo); devoted grandmother of Jessica, Nicholas and Matthew Benedetti and Anthony DeCamillo; cherished daughter of the late Paul and Frances (nee D’Amico) Licurs; dearest sister of Mary Bryan, Paul Licurs, Jr., and the late twins Michael and David Licurs; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Angela has been a resident of Highland Heights for 63 years. Angela has been a faithful parishioner of St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church and was a charter member. She sang in the choir at church and was a member of the bowling league. Angela was very involved in her community; she was a Co-Chair for the Mayfield Regional Library Book Sale, a Girl Scout Leader, a Red Cross Volunteer at Huron Road Hospital during WW II, past President of the Isabella Guild of Knights of Columbus Gilmour Council #310, and past President of the National Council of Catholic Women Cleveland Chapter. Angela graduated from Brush High School and was a homemaker. She loved listening to Perry Como and Big Band music. Angela loved gardening, reading, dancing and traveling to Europe. Angela will be remembered most as an organized, determined, hard working woman with a strong will. She was a great cook and baker.  Angela will be remembered most as an organized, hard working woman with a strong will who always put family first.

Funeral Mass Monday, April 20, 2015 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) SUNDAY 2-4 & 5-7 PM.
