Andrew Fall “Uncle Andy,” 91, of Willowick, passed away June 27, 2011, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Oct. 4, 1919, in Conemaugh, Pa., he had lived in Cleveland before moving to Willowick five years ago.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 5107 and American Legion Post 633, both of Conemaugh, Pa. Mr. Fall worked as a machinist at Eaton Axle in Cleveland.
Survivors are his sisters, Eve Hrvatin and Helen Goveze; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Demetrius Fall; stepmother, Anna Fall; and brothers, Michael Monroe, Michael, John and Frank Fall.
Funeral services will be noon Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Cosic Funeral Home, 28890 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills. Fr. Andrew Clemons of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church of Concord Township will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
