Andrew Diliddo

ANDREW J. DiLIDDO, aged 92 years, beloved husband for 65 years to the late Maria “Stella” (nee Savarino); dear father of Andrew Jr. (wife Rebecca), Frances Kurtz (husband William), Janice Ulrich (husband Steve) and the late Edward; devoted son of the late Donato and Lucia (nee Simone); cherished brother of Bartholomew and the late Vito, Antoinette Ryan, Mary Rasic, and Lucretia Stack; treasured uncle, great-uncle, godfather and friend of many. WWII U.S. Army-Air Corps Veteran.

Andy was born on January 30, 1925 in Piedmont, West Virginia and passed away on February 6, 2017. He was a resident of Lyndhurst and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church for over 50 years. Andy graduated from Collinwood High School and John Carroll University. He loved woodworking, golfing and growing roses. Andy will be remembered most as a friendly, kind, gentle man and a gentleman. He loved children, was a kid magnet and had a good sense of humor. Andy adored his family and will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the FUNERAL HOME at 10 AM. Interment following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Andy at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
