ANDREW CASSESE, age 89. Beloved husband for 58 years of Mary Ellen (nee Murphy). Loving father of Andrea Cassese-Weiner (husband Jeff), Patricia Kecskemety (husband Bill), Mark (wife Mary Sue), Kathy, Terese Kvasnicka and David (wife Mary Jo). Devoted grandfather of Krista and Kara Kecskemety, Nicole and Anthony Cassese, Daniel and Andrea Kvasnicka, Andrew and Kellie Cassese. Cherished son of the late John and Ersilia (nee Sorrentini) Cassese. Dearest brother of Flora Romonto (husband Domenic) and the late Dominic (wife Jennie, deceased), Mary Petrello (husband Nick, deceased), Genevieve DiRocco (husband Reggie, deceased) and John (wife Elaine). Dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Andrew was a retired elementary school principal in the Willoughby-Eastlake School System and a World War II U.S. Army-Air Corp Veteran.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 6, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (Willoughby) at 10 AM. Interment following at Lake View Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Andrew at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
