Andrea “Andy” Molica

ANDREA “ANDY” MOLICA age 79, longtime companion of Ida Weaver; loving father of Andy Molica, Jr. (wife Anne), Megan Longfellow (husband Roy), and Carmella LeMar (husband Josh); devoted grandfather of Emily, Molly, Anthony, Ellie, Zackary, and Evan; cherished son of the late Anthony and Mary (nee Russo) Molica; dearest brother of Anthony (wife Marie), Mary Jo Jakubowski (husband Walt), John (wife Katie), and the late Ross (wife Barbara) and Joseph (wife Mary Lou); former spouse of Mary (nee Frame); dear uncle, great-uncle, and friend of many.

Andy was born on January 19, 1942 in Cleveland, OH and passed away on June 5, 2021 after a short battle with lung cancer. Andy enjoyed staying active and was an avid golfer and tennis player, and member of Willoughby Eagles Aerie #2300. He loved life and being present in every part of it that he could. It brought him joy to help others and was the one you counted on to fix whatever you needed. Time spent with his family and friends meant the most to him. He spent some of the best times with Ida by his side traveling to new places, trying new foods, and enjoying an ice-cold beer. Andy’s easy spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 10, 2021 at St. Clare Catholic Church 5659 Mayfield Rd, Cleveland, OH 44124 at 10 AM. Meet at Church.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Andy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
