Ana P. Sankovic

ANA P. SANKOVIC (nee Peloza) age 80, beloved wife for 62 years of Antony; loving mother of Renato (deceased), Lori Murphy (deceased) (husband Daniel), Denis (wife Kathy) and Anne-Marie Schlessel (husband Michael); devoted nona of Danny, Michael, Jack, Anthony (deceased), Elena, Amanda, Matthew and Nathan; dearest sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

Ana was born on August 31, 1938 in Vele-Mune, Croatia and passed away on July 8^th, 2019 in Euclid. She came to the United States in 1969 after a short time in Nice, France. Ana has been a resident of Euclid for the past 40 years. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Mt. St. Joseph. Ana enjoyed knitting, dancing, cooking, baking, and traveling. She visited Europe, Punta Cana, The Bahamas and Las Vegas, where she loved to play the slot machines. Ana was also a fan of polka music. Ana was very giving, friendly, witty, social and outgoing. She was generous to everyone she knew and will be dearly missed by all.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial FRIDAY, July 12, 2019 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 15519 Holmes Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110. Private burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ana at THE ZENIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
