AMERIGO “RICK” NERONE age 88, beloved husband for 64 years of Barbara (nee Dello); loving father of Richard, Thomas (wife Ann), Marianne DeLauro (husband Mario), Linda Reinert, and Carl (wife Traci); devoted grandfather of Ricky, Nick, Autumn, Theresa Urban (husband Mike), Jeniffer, Matt (wife Amanda) and Nichole Reinert, Christopher and Brad DeLauro, Lauren, Robert DeLauro, Vince, Leah, Marco, Leo and Dominic; cherished son of the late Carl and Marianna (nee Salari); dearest brother of the late Frank; treasured son-in-law of the late Leonard and Mary Dello; fond brother-in-law of Robert and Leonard Dello; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Veteran.
Rick was born on March 16, 1929 in Cleveland and passed away on January 21, 2018. He was a resident of Mayfield Heights for 5 years, formerly of Gates Mills. Rick graduated from Brush High School and attended Miami University. He was the owner/operator of Nerone & Sons, Inc. Rick enjoyed boating, smoking cigars and was very handy. He loved traveling and cruises. Rick was a pilot and loved flying planes and helicopters. He will be remembered most as a very giving, generous, social, hardworking, and very conservative man. Rick had strong opinions to teach other and loved politics. Family was the center of his world and most important to him. Rick will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following with Military Honors at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rick at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
