Alma M. Calvert

Alma M. (Francey) Calvert, 42, of Chardon, passed away May 23, 2012, at her home. Born Feb. 19, 1970, in Madison, she had lived in Chardon for the past 13 years. Alma was a graduate of Chardon High School in 1988. A triplet sister of Annie and Ellie, she enjoyed playing Bingo, joining her family on picnics and attending the Baptist Church. Alma was an assembler at EGC Manufacturing.

Survivors are her husband of six years, Craig; son, Alan Calvert of Chardon; daughters, Sasha Francey of Chardon and Jeanine Calvert of Chardon; grandchildren, Terrance and Ava; father, Joseph Francey; brother, Joseph Francey (fiancee, Jane Straughbaugh) of Chardon; and sisters, Linette (Steve) Kulka of Florida, Annie Muheisien of Chardon, Ellie (Lew) Lemauga of Chardon and Janet (Tim) Moody of Wickliffe. She was the dear niece, aunt, cousin and friend of many. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris (nee Miller) Francey.

A Celebration of Life services will be held noon Saturday, May 26, 2012, at DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro), 126 South St. (Route 44, south of Route 6/Chardon Square). Pastor Dean Carlo will officiate. Burial will be in Chardon Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
