ALLEN JOHN “AL” PERSE, age 64 of Bratenahl; beloved son of Rosemary and Elmer (deceased) Perse ; dearest brother of Elmer J. Jr. M.D. (deceased) (Debbie), David F. M.D., Janet (Gary) Schuster and Jessica A. M.D., J.D.; cherished uncle of Becky Furilla, Jonathan (Kalia), Jamie, Jason, Brian J.D. (Katy), Jeremy D.P.M., Kate (Nick) Cortese, Cassie (Doug) Leiby, Nate Schuster and Michael, Rachael, Andrew John, Anna, Joey and John Perse Libertin and great-uncle of Ella, Kadin, Jonathan, Sophia, Tyler, Lily, Colin, Charlie and Evelyn; treasured nephew of Dorothy Urbancic and Frank Krasovec; special friend of Daniela Cardiello.

Al was born in Cleveland. He graduated from St. Joseph High School and Purdue University where he earned a degree in Pharmacy. He owned and operated Prijatel’s Pharmacy in the St. Clair neighborhood where his customers fondly called him “Doc”. The St. Clair neighborhood family held a special place in his heart.

Family suggests memorial contributions in Al’s name to St. Vincent Charity Development Foundation 2351 E. 22nd St. Cleveland OH 44115.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at St. Vitus Church 6019 Lausche Ave. Cleveland OH 44103. Entombment at All Souls Cemetery.
