Alice Polis

ALICE M. POLIS, age 85; beloved daughter of the late Leopold and Angela (nee Orazem) Polis; cherished sister of Ann Sibert (husband Ralph); treasured aunt of Gregg Sibert (wife Diane), Laura Sibert-Cardoza (husband William), Lisa Anderson (husband Ted) and great-aunt of Joshua, Tyler, Alexis and Zachary.

Alice was a resident of Willoughby Hills for just over a year after moving from Cleveland, where she was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Holmes Avenue. After her move, she attended St. Noel Catholic Church with her sister, Ann Sibert. She was also a member of the KSKJ Slovenian Lodge and AARP. A 1946 graduate of Collinwood High School, Alice worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years. She enjoyed golf, bowling and traveling to Greece, Italy, France and throughout Europe. Her family will remember her as a self-sufficient, quietly independent, strong-willed woman who was generally agreeable, liked to please others and had a positive attitude.
