Alice M. Ardire

ALICE M. ARDIRE (nee Hauck) age 89, beloved wife for 69 years of James; loving mother of Patricia Ardire, Joan Sanfilippo, James, Jr. (wife Laura), and Barbara Wisch; devoted grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 8; dearest sister of the late Erwin Hauck (wife Joanne); dear aunt, great-aunt, and cousin of many.

Alice was born on July 14, 1929 in Cleveland and passed away on May 14, 2019. She was a resident of Mayfield Heights and Chesterland. She graduated from Mayfield High School in 1947 and was a proud homemaker. Alice greatly enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and crocheting in her free time. She also loved to travel, especially to Florida and California. Alice was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. She was organized, hospitable, social, and loved to entertain her friends and family. Alice also loved to tell jokes. She was devoted to her family and cherished her time spent with them. Alice will be dearly missed by all.

Prayers of Christian Burial Monday, May 20, 2019 at 10:30 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Alice at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) SUNDAY 3-7 PM.
