Alice L. Davisson

Alice L. (nee Seese) Davisson, 85, a resident of Kirtland for 20 years, formerly of Willoughby Hills, passed away March 23, 2012, at Maisonaine Nursing Home in Stow. She was born June 26, 1926, in Hooversville, Pa.

Alice loved crocheting, cross word puzzles, animals and traveling. Her family remembers her as a generous, free-spirited, loving, affectionate and very independent. She was a retired secretary from TRW.

Survivors include her son, Frank C. (Aurelia) Young of Willoughby; and grandchildren, Kimberly (James) Beers, Danene (Nick) Brnjic and Dennis Young. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Donald B. Davisson; son, Dennis D. Young; parents, William and Mary (nee Shaffer) Seese.

Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road and Route 91). Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the funeral home. Entombment will take place in Knollwood Mausoleum.
