Alice E. Kuhar

ALICE E. KUHAR age 85, beloved daughter of the late Florian and Anna (nee Zumer) Kuhar; dearest sister of Anne Sraj (husband Joseph, deceased), Helen Morel (husband Edward, deceased), and the late Peter Cook, Frank (wife Elsie, deceased), Fred (wife Winifred, deceased) and Mary Kuhar; dear aunt of Frank and Rita, Fred and Maryann Kuhar, Joseph and Linda Sraj, Joanne and Steve Sopko, Donna and James Motsch, Edward Morel, and the late Raymond and Peter Kuhar and great aunt to many.

Alice was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Collinwood and previously of St. Christine. She was a member of SNPJ lodge, Radio and T.V. with the Cleveland Board of Education, Polka Village Radio Club and the Polka Hall of Fame. Alice graduated from Collinwood high school and worked as an Administrative assistant for the Cleveland Board of Education. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, was an avid reader, and enjoyed participating in Slovenian organizations. She loved traveling, especially to Slovenia. Alice was very proud of her Slovenian heritage. Family gave her great enjoyment in life. She was outgoing, loved people, social, and loved to celebrate and loved to go to parties and plan events. Alice was a friend to many and loved by all. She will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church 15519 Holmes Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110 at 10 AM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Private burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Alice at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 5-8PM.
