Alfonso Piazza

ALFONSO PIAZZA, age 90, beloved husband for 55 years of the late Jenny (nee Alaimo); loving father of Josette Watson (husband Timothy), Peter (wife Mary) and John (wife Sandy); devoted grandfather of Sheila Arth (Chris), Michael Watson, Cyndi Hendley (Kevin), Christina, Angela, Emily, John, Andrew and Sarah and great-grandfather of six; dearest brother of the late Frank, Tony, Jenny Scalia and Leonard; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Alfonso was born August 9, 1925 in Italy and passed away February 26, 2016. Alfonso was a lover of life, a devoted gardener and a terrific bowler. He was hardworking and determined. He was also the owner of his own landscaping company. Alfonso will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, March 3, 2016 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Alfonso at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
