Alexander P. Nameth

ALEXANDER P. NAMETH, age 88; beloved son of the late Elizabeth (nee Horvath) and Alex S. Nemeth; loving brother of the late Elmer J. Mr. Nameth died on Wednesday at Hospice of the Western Reserve. He was a long time resident of Thompson.

Alex was a World War II US Army Veteran who fought as part of the 104th Infantry Division Timberwolves during the Battle of the Bulge. He worked as a factory worker for 40 years at Diamond Alkali Company and later as a postal carrier for the US Postal Service. A parishioner of St. Patrick Church for many years, Alex was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Contributions are suggested in Alex’s memory to St. Patrick Church, 16550 Rock Creek Rd., Thompson, Ohio 44086, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Burial following with Military Honors in All Souls Cemetery. Friends will be received to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Alex at the Church on TUESDAY from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
