Alex Horvath

ALEX HORVATH age 89. Beloved husband for 63 years of Hilda L. (nee Felton); loving father of James (wife Beth) and David (wife Lisa); devoted grandfather of Mark, Pat, Tim, Eric, Carrie, great-grandfather of Camille and step-grandfather of Mackenzie and Madison Edwards; dearest brother of Theresa Komat, Rose Audia, Elizabeth Albury and predeceased by four brothers and two sisters; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Alex was a retired foreman from Ohio Bell retiring in 1982 after 38 years of service. He participated in Pioneer of America and was a World War II U.S. Army-Air Force Veteran. He loved fishing, hunting and furniture refinishing. His family remembers him having a big heart and being a very giving and generous person.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Alex’s memory to Grace Hospice, 7314 Industrial Park Blvd., Mentor OH 44060. Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11:30 AM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). Burial following with military honors at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Alex MONDAY 4-8 PM.
